Artist Statement

Born in Mexico, I come from a culture that carries a profound sense of the delicate relation between life and death, birth and entropy, unity and dispersion. This has led me to research a certain trilogy, man/nature/history, and attempt to reconcile the juxtaposed tension between two separate realities, those of social space and natural space.
