Come be a part of the fun and hands-on creativity! During each workshop,
children spend the afternoon creating sculptures with the assistance of
resident artists and artist interns. Materials (usually lumber and other
wood), tools, and technical assistance are provided to accomplish
virtually any construction. Franconia provides one artist-assistant for
every 2 children.We welcome children ages 4 to 18. At the end of the
day, all sculptures are exhibited and photos are taken to document the
talent of the young artists.
Reservations
are required to participate in this program and are taken
on a first come-first served basis.There is a nominal

Artist
Intern Program
The
Artist Intern Program provides the opportunity for career-bound
sculptors enrolled in college or graduate programs to experience
first-hand the working life of a career artist. Interns
work daily on Franconia Sculpture park's exhibition. This
program, in cooperation with a number of educational institutions,
is developing as a national honors program for sculpture
students.
