Artist Statement
An idea is all powerful. It has the ability to ignite and simultaneously extinguish love. It can breathe life yet with a heavy hand compose and orchestrate a war that is so sickeningly saturated with fear that 100 years of freedom instantly becomes nothing more than a vague memory. The Young is an idea. One just as heavy and just as fleeting as human vitality.
