Artist Statement

I believe that art should be touched and experienced as a means to engage with people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. This tactile approachability is embodied in my work; by placing the sculpture within the elements and ever-changing landscape I create work that is based on sensory overload. I encourage visitors to experience their senses on a deeper level and be present in the moment. The work is both playful and humorous, and I encourage viewers to touch, climb on, and interact with the sculptures.
