Artist Statement
As long as I can remember, I have been obsessed with proving myself. Proving that I can be more resilient, diligent, and stronger than anyone would expect. As pushing myself to an extreme extent became a norm, I started to realize that I was performing for an invisible audience composed of only myself. PUSH is a reflection upon this struggle and perhaps the origins within my Midwestern humility and work ethic.
