Franconia Artist House Rentals

Come contemplate art and nature at this renowned arts organization. The Artist House at Franconia Sculpture Park is a working artist residency that opens its doors to the public as a unique place to stay. With 50 acres of restored prairie and art around every corner, guests will love walking the grounds. The Artist House will feel like your own exclusive outdoor museum experience. Perfect for a small group retreat or artists’ getaway. Crimson-saturated sunsets and sparkling night skies are included!

The Artist House is a 4,200-square-foot farmhouse with many windows, two kitchens, five bedrooms, and 2.5 baths. This property isn’t a five-star hotel. It is a working artist residency house with well-loved furniture & appliances, situated within a public park. You may see park visitors exploring the area around the house from time to time. Franconia staff cleans the house on a regular basis and between each stay, but we do not have a professional cleaning staff.

Please note, the Artist House is primarily occupied with artists-in-residence from May-October. Rentals may be available occasionally during these months, but the likelihood of availability is much higher November-April.

Artist House Policies

All stays include a $100 refundable cleaning deposit, returned upon inspection of the house after departure. The Artist House must be left in good condition, or the cleaning deposit will be forfeited. 

All guests of the Artist House are asked to assist with a few tasks to help out Franconia’s staff– returning furniture to its original place, washing all dishes, and leaving a note of any household essentials that need to be addressed or replaced. Overnight guests are asked to remove linens from beds that were used. Franconia asks all guests to respect neighbors of the park and refrain from loud noise & music after 10PM. There is absolutely NO smoking inside the Artist House.
