Fall Family Days @ Franconia

Soak up fall at Franconia with hayrides every weekend in October! Starting Sunday, October 4th and running through Halloween, visit Saturday or Sunday from 12-4PM and take a ride around the park! With other fun and family-friendly activities throughout the month, there is something for everyone! Read below for more details about specials dates.

Hayrides $5/person, first come first served.

Sunday, October 4th

Kick-off Day and Art & Farmers Market! Join us for the monthly Art & Farmers Market from 10AM-2PM and stick around for hayrides starting at 12PM and running until 4PM. Start the autumnal season off strong with fresh produce & local goods, plus a performance from local surf rock band, The Swongos! 

Saturday, October 10th

Join The Prairie Enthusiasts for a hands-on native flower and grass seed collection event from 1-4PM. Learn more about this special event here! All are welcome, no registration required. 

Sunday, October 18th

Artists-in-Leadership showcase event with Wild Rice Dancing from 12-4PM led by Giiwedin and a performance in the prairie curated by Sydney Ockenga

Saturday, October 31st

It’s a classic bring-the-whole-family Halloween party! Explore the park with a candy scavenger hunt, show off your costume (and maybe win a prize) in our human AND dog costume contests, and celebrate the end of the fall season! Full schedule to come.
