Artist Statement

The idea of this sculpture came from the natural circulation system. I collected a lot of branches that will eventually become good soil and the plants are going to grow up by it.  Those plants are also going to become good soil after their life. So the natural circulation system makes me think about life and death. I think life and death have huge energy and therefore I hope the Thinking Place is going to encourage viewers to think about natural circulation systems or feel the huge energy I describe in relation to life and death.
