Artist Statement

I am a collector – a collector of stories, debris, and lost gestures. Originally from northern Idaho, I grew up navigating mountain forests embedded with the residual traces of human activity. Echoing this implanted debris, I create meditative and inconclusive installations and material assemblages that challenge the permeability of structure and place.
