Music @ the Markets
Join us every first Sunday through October
Franconia’s monthly summer Art & Farmer’s Market is a beloved local staple and a draw for more than 12,000 annual summer visitors to the park. So far in 2026, we have welcomed market-goers on the first Sunday of May, June, and July – all joining us to watch as the park blooms into its summer palette. Bright, lush greens, prairie flowers swaying, and the colors, textures, and materials of the sculptures respond to the burst of vivid life.

The 2026 Lineup
Here at Franconia, art, life, emotions, and energy mix together to invite each person into a unique experience along the St. Croix. This summer, producer and DJ Woody McBride has developed Music at the Market, a chance for local musicians to be the backing soundtrack to a lively day at the park. In May, we heard Thea Ennen; in June, Apollo Cobra; and in July, Kim and Quillan Roe.
For our final three months of Music at the Market, the lineup is equally diverse. August will bring Samantha Grimes who plays an iconic Midwestern combo of folk, rock, blues, and country. September is a surprise that we’ll announce soon, and October closes out market season with the fun, funky tunes of The Swongos.
Each summer is a swell at Franconia—the long days sweep into each other, and the weeks seem to fly by. Music at the Market gives everyone the chance to sit down, take it all in, and soak up the sights and sounds of the St. Croix River Valley.
