Artist Statement

The title came from Diana of Ephesus a Temple dedicated to the goddess. Although the site is a ruin, it can be found near the city of Selçuk,Turkey. Diana, also known as Artemis in Greece, is goddess of the hunt, associated with fertility, and known for her multiple breasts. My training in art school included anatomy and figure drawing. Even in my most abstract sculptures, I’m interested in the human form.
