Artist Statement

I make art to express the softness and silliness that I feel inside. I want to remind myself and others that we never lose the light of our inner child, we just forget that it is in there. I aim to counterbalance the bad I see in the world around me with something that makes me feel the exact opposite. In art as in life, I aim to make people laugh, see the beauty in the small things, and feel more comfortable and less alien in the world.
